We collect the following information to operate the BidPilot service:

• User Email - used for account creation, login, and support communication.
• Job Post Content - imported content from job listings used to generate AI-assisted proposal drafts.

We use collected data strictly to deliver and improve AI-assisted proposal generation inside BidPilot.

We do not sell user data, including personal information or imported job content, to third parties.

The BidPilot Chrome extension captures the content of public job postings you view on upwork.com and syncs them to your own BidPilot account so they can be scored and turned into proposal drafts. It collects nothing from any other website and does not track your browsing history.

• Job post content - the text of Upwork job pages you visit while passive sync is enabled. You can pause capture at any time from the extension popup.
• BidPilot API key - stored locally in your browser and sent only to bidpilotapp.com to authenticate syncs with your own account.

The extension never asks for or stores your Upwork credentials, never submits proposals, and takes no actions on Upwork on your behalf. Extension data is used solely to provide BidPilot features to you; it is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

To provide core functionality, BidPilot uses trusted infrastructure and AI providers:

• LLM providers (currently Groq) to process job text and generate proposal drafts and scores.
• Managed cloud infrastructure (Vercel, Neon Postgres, Render, Upstash) to host the application, database, and background processing.

These providers process data only as needed to operate BidPilot and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes beyond their published terms.

You may request deletion of your account data at any time. We honor verified deletion requests in accordance with applicable laws and our platform obligations.
